Welcome to skatelesson.net. My mission is simple: to move beyond the basics and help you find your "flow."
Most skating lessons teach you how to move forward and stop. While those are vital, I specialize in Freestyle Skating—the art of dance, rhythm, and technical footwork. Whether you are a total beginner looking for a fun way to stay fit or an experienced skater wanting to nail that one specific move you saw on social media, I’m here to coach you through it.
I don’t believe in "one size fits all" teaching. Everyone’s balance, rhythm, and goals are different. That is why I created the Freestyle Checklist. You tell me what you want to master, and we build a custom session to get you there.
Tailored Coaching: One-on-one sessions focused entirely on your progress.
Fitness Focused: Roller skating is one of the best full-body workouts. We combine skill-building with cardio.
Independent & Authentic: I teach at local Maryland rinks (Laurel & Odenton) because I love the community, but I operate independently to give you a more personalized, modern experience.
Skating is about confidence. I advocate for the use of protective gear at every level—not because I expect you to fall, but because knowing you're protected gives you the courage to try new things. From your first time on eight wheels to mastering the moonwalk, we do it safely and with style.
